Our congregation has been involved with Family Promise for several years. We provide funds and volunteers for the various aspects of the ministry.
The Fall Gala for Family Promise is going to be held on November 14, 2019, at 6:30 pm in the Overton Hotel Conference Center [not to be confused with overton hall]. The theme is New Beginnings and reflects upon the new beginnings for homeless families who have graduated the program. We are urging all our current and prospective volunteers to attend.
Individual tickets are $50.00 (75.00 after November 7th), or we can attend as a church group at $500.00 for a table of 8, and receive recognition at the Gala.
What to expect:
- enjoy a great meal
- hear inspiring testimonies from some families that have been through the program
- be entertained by the Dance Gallery of Lubbock
- an opportunity to participate in both a silent and a live auction
- you will also meet volunteers from other host churches.
